Barbara’s compassionate and insightful support was invaluable in the months following the birth of my daughter. Her extensive knowledge provided guidance while her calm demeanor put me at ease whenever I felt as though I couldn’t handle the changes in my life that came with becoming a mother for the first time. From grocery shopping to offering advice on how to find childcare, Barbara was always there. I feel very privileged to have had Barbara’s support. I was thrilled to have her help me in my postpartum months.

Barbara was fantastic in helping us plan the labor and delivery and made us feel really confident that we could do this. Of course, as life often goes, my labor went the complete opposite of the way I envisioned and we can honestly say that we wouldn’t have made it through without Barbara being with us. ...Barbara had no problems hopping right up on the bed to rub my back or wipe my face with a cool cloth. She did everything possible to keep me as calm and relaxed as she could... [During the postpartum period] Whether I needed a nap, someone to go grocery shopping for me, or someone to answer the millions of questions I had about everything, she was there. We really couldn’t have asked for a better person to be our Birth and Postpartum Doula. Barbara is an advocate, a cheerleader, a helper, but most of all a friend. We highly recommend her to everyone we meet, as does our family. We will ask her to be our doula again in the future without a doubt if we’re blessed with more children.
